For over twenty-four years, I proudly served as a Probation Officer El Dorado County. Throughout my career, I discovered a passion for teaching, particularly in areas such as handgun training, use of force, de-escalation, and officer safety. At True North Defense, we are committed to offering personalized, one-on-one self-defense training with a strong emphasis on handgun instruction. As a POST and DOJ certified instructor since 2018 and a field training officer since 2017, my goal is to instill confidence and competence in every student, prioritizing safety and empowerment through effective training.
